The Campanile di San Marco is the freestanding bell tower of St. Mark’s Basilica and one of the best viewpoints in Venice. An elevator carries visitors to the top for wide views over the lagoon, rooftops and Piazza San Marco. Lines can be long in high season, but the visit itself is quick.
