HOME is a vibrant contemporary arts centre located in Manchester, United Kingdom, which opened its doors in 2015. It was formed by the merger of two of Manchester’s best-loved cultural institutions, Cornerhouse and The Library Theatre Company, bringing together their expertise in visual arts, film, and theatre. The centre boasts five cinema screens, a 500-seat theatre, a 150-seat flexible studio space, extensive exhibition galleries, a bookshop, and a bar and restaurant. It is designed to be a welcoming and accessible space for everyone, offering a diverse programme of international and domestic art, film, and theatre. HOME is also committed to commissioning and producing new work, fostering emerging talent, and engaging with the local community through various educational and outreach programmes. Visitors can expect a dynamic and constantly evolving programme, ranging from independent and world cinema to groundbreaking theatrical productions, contemporary art exhibitions, and literary events.
