Ilha Fiscal is a picturesque Gothic Revival castle located on a small island in Guanabara Bay, originally built as a customs post. It is historically significant as the site of the last imperial ball held by Emperor Pedro II just days before the proclamation of the Republic of Brazil in 1889. accessible by a short boat trip from the Naval Cultural Space, it offers guided tours of its opulent interiors and beautiful views of the bay.
