The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, commonly known as Kew Gardens, is a non-departmental public body in the United Kingdom sponsored by the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs. It comprises 132 hectares of gardens and botanical glasshouses, with a collection of more than 50,000 living plants. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
