St. Peter's Church

St. Peter's Church (Peterskirche) is a magnificent Baroque Roman Catholic church nestled in the heart of Vienna, Austria. Its history dates back to the late 17th century, though a church on this site has existed since Late Antiquity. The current structure, a masterpiece of Viennese Baroque architecture, was inspired by St. Peter's Basilica in Rome and constructed between 1701 and 1733.
