Teufelsberg

Teufelsberg, meaning "Devil's Mountain," is an artificial hill in Berlin, Germany, located in the Grunewald forest. It was built from the rubble of Berlin after World War II and became home to a U.S. National Security Agency (NSA) listening station during the Cold War. The station was strategically positioned to intercept East German and Soviet communications. After the fall of the Berlin Wall, the station was abandoned and fell into disrepair.
