The Dubai Fountain is the world's largest choreographed fountain system, located on the 30-acre man-made Burj Khalifa Lake, in front of the Dubai Mall. It was designed by WET Design, the California-based company responsible for the Fountains of Bellagio in Las Vegas. Spectacular water and light shows are set to a range of melodies, from classical to contemporary Arabic and world music. The fountain shoots water up to 150 meters (500 ft) into the air. Visible from numerous vantage points around Downtown Dubai, including The Dubai Mall and several waterfront restaurants, it offers a truly unforgettable experience, especially when viewed at night.
