About

The Adalar, commonly known as the Princes' Islands, are a captivating chain of nine small islands located in the Marmara Sea, just a short ferry ride from Istanbul. These islands are famous for their car-free environment, relying on electric vehicles and horse-drawn carriages (phaetons until recently) for transport, which preserves their peaceful and nostalgic atmosphere. Each island, particularly Büyükada, Heybeliada, Burgazada, and Kınalıada, offers unique charm with historic wooden mansions, beautiful beaches, and lush pine forests. They provide a delightful escape from the city's hustle, perfect for cycling, walking, and enjoying fresh seafood and the serene natural beauty.
