Church of Our Lady before Týn

The Church of Our Lady before Týn, often simply called Týn Church, is a dominant Gothic church and a recognizable landmark of Prague's Old Town Square. Its two towers, reaching over 80 meters (262 feet) high, are crowned with four small spires, giving it a distinctive fairytale appearance that has captivated visitors for centuries. Construction of the current church began in the 14th century, replacing an earlier Romanesque basilica, and it served as the main church for the Hussite movement in Bohemia.
