About

The Dancing House, or 'Fred and Ginger,' is a deconstructivist building located on the Vltava riverside, designed by renowned architects Frank Gehry and Vlado Milunić. Completed in 1996, its unique design, resembling two dancers, stands in stark contrast to the Baroque, Gothic, and Art Nouveau buildings that characterize Prague. It quickly became a modern architectural icon of the city. The building houses offices, a hotel, and a gallery, but its main attraction for tourists is the Ginger & Fred Restaurant and Glass Bar on the top floor. From here, visitors can enjoy a drink or a meal with fantastic panoramic views over Prague Castle and the Vltava River. It's a must-see for architecture enthusiasts and those looking for a contemporary perspective on Prague.
