About

The Lennon Wall in Prague is a vibrant and ever-changing monument to peace, love, and freedom, located in the Lesser Town. Since the 1980s, the wall has been continuously covered with John Lennon-inspired graffiti, lyrics from Beatles songs, and various messages of peace. What started as a protest against the communist regime, which forbade Western music and symbols, quickly became a symbol of defiance for young Czechs. Even after the Velvet Revolution, the wall continues to be a canvas for visitors from all over the world to leave their mark and share messages of hope and unity. It's a colorful and dynamic piece of public art that embodies the spirit of artistic expression and humanitarian ideals.
