About

The Pantanal is the world's largest tropical wetlands, a vast interior wetland in Brazil, mostly within the states of Mato Grosso and Mato Grosso do Sul. While less famous than the Amazon, it is often considered one of the best places in South America for wildlife viewing due to its open landscapes and high concentration of animals. It's home to jaguars, capybaras, caimans, anacondas, and an incredible array of birdlife. Safaris, horse riding, and boat trips are popular ways to explore this natural treasure.
